I’ve been rewatching Cardcaptor Sakura lately and the one thing that’s really sticking out to me this time around is how much emphasis is put on food. So I’ve been trying hard to cook a little something something every weekend and it’s been helping my spirits a lot.
This week I tried my hand at making nikuman, or ‘meat buns’ if you like. They came out perfectly! I’m so pleased with them. I did these with a pork and ginger filling, but I think you can use whatever fillings you like.
I think I’d like to do sweet buns next time.
